Applications are now being accepted for The Data Incubator’s Summer Data Science Fellowship opportunity. The Data Incubator is a data science training organization supported by Cornell University. In addition to running the fellowship program, The Data Incubator also facilitates data science courses and provides resources to both hire data scientists and train current data science employees.
The fellowship program comprises eight weeks of intensive data science training and mentorship at locations in New York City, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, and Washington, DC. For accepted applicants who are not located in or unable to spend eight weeks in one of those locations, online sessions are also available. Anyone seeking a career as a data scientist who has already completed a masters or PhD degree, or is within one year of graduating with a masters or PhD, is eligible to apply for the fellowship. The summer program that applications are currently being accepted for runs from June 18, 2018 to August 10, 2018. Backed by sponsorships from employers across multiple industries, the fellowship is free for successful applicants!
Past fellows have used their participation in the program to jumpstart careers at many leading technology companies including Amazon and Palantir. To learn more about past Data Incubator’s fellows, check out The Data Incubator’s blog.
Those interested but unable to participate in the upcoming session can sign up for the mailing list on the Data Guild’s website to receive information about future sessions.
