The Nobel Prizes will soon be announced, and we’re understandably excited about the medical award and invite anyone to join us in guessing the winner(s). We’re giving away an Eko Core digital stethoscope we reviewed last week. It impressed us and we are sure it would help a lot of physicians assess their patients. You now have just over a week to think back on groundbreaking biomedical research and submit your guesses to try to win an Eko.
Our simple rules for the Guess-a-Nobel in Physiology or Medicine 2016 Contest are as follows: Simply “Like” Medgadget on Facebook and leave your guess in the comments there to this post. Here’s the link…
The guess should be in the form of a name or names of the scientist(s) you believe will win the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2016, and the achievement for which they’ll be awarded. Only one guess is allowed per person and in case of multiple scientists sharing the Nobel, the person(s) whose answer is more complete will be used to select the winner. Because there’s a high chance that more than one person will guess correctly, we’ll be choosing the winner randomly from all the correct answers.
The contest is free and open to anyone with a Facebook account and, to receive the prize, lives in an area where UPS or FEDEX deliver.
Please make your submissions in the comments section on Facebook at this link by 11:59 PM Sunday, October 2 New York time (EDT). And don’t forget to “Like” our page to qualify. The winner will be announced on Friday, October 7.
