This past weekend, editor Scott Jung made another appearance on the TWiT.tv Netcast Network‘s The New Screen Savers to show off some more gadgets that we’ve featured here on Medgadget.
Seated between host Leo Laporte and guest co-host Iain Thompson of The Register, Scott demonstrated a very timely portable sensor called AlerSense that can warn you of high levels of particulate matter and VOC’s in the air. He also demonstrated how the uBox can help address the problem of poor medication adherence. Finally, he revealed to the world how hot he was (literally) with readings from the TempTraq wireless thermometer patch. The three also talked briefly about digital health, and agreed that if the prominence of health in Apple’s recent keynote event is any indicator, digital health will only become more important.
Scott pre-recorded a number of additional segments with more gadgets to air during future episodes, so keep watching for more from him!
