Interscope, a company based in Worcester, MA, won the CE Mark allowing it to introduce its EndoRotor device to the European market for performing resections in the colon and esophagus to manage cancerous polyps and Barretts esophagus.
The system can reduce the number of instruments used when removing mucosal legions and makes tool exchange faster and easier. This is accomplished by both cutting and delivering suction in one move using a rotating head that traps the removes tissue.
