ETH Zurich is getting ready to host the first Cybathlon, a sports competition in which disabled people can use advanced assistive devices to overcome a variety of challenges. There will be special racing courses designed to test out real world capabilities of powered knee prostheses, wearable arm prostheses, powered exoskeletons, powered wheelchairs, electrically stimulated muscles, and even brain-computer interfaces.
