Though medication errors continue to be a common occurrence, software designed to prevent them often creates its own problems while not really solving the core issue. MedAware, a new firm that was a finalist in the 2015 MedTech Innovator competition is taking a unique approach by actually reducing the number of alerts issued in the hope that clinicians will pay greater attention to it.
