Nora is a new product raising money on Kickstarter that promises to actively stop its users from snoring. It consists of a small sensor that listens for the sound of storing and an in-pillow pad that inflates and deflates to gently change the position of the head.
Since snoring is typically due to how the head is positioned coupled with relaxed muscles, changing these variables may have substantial effect. There have been similar devices on the market that move the head, but it’s the first we’ve seen that actually responds to snoring.
Kickstarter backers that want to get early copies of the Nora can expect the product to reach their doors in May of next year. Here’s a promo video for the Nora:
