Yesterday we wrote about a baby whose life was saved thanks to a 3-D printed tracheal splint created specifically for the patient’s anatomy. Now we get word via the BBC that a motorcyclist from Wales, who was involved in an accident that disfigured his head and face, had 3-D printed implants embedded to reconstruct the damaged parts.
