Phonak (Zurich, Switzerland), a manufacturer of hearing aid technology, has unveiled the Sky Q hearing aids for children with mild to profound hearing loss. 
The waterproof and dust-tight product line is available in a variety of colors that include 17 for the housing and 7 for the ear hook so that children can create their own unique look. Phonak also offers fun stickers for kids to further personalize the hearing aids.
The Sky Q provide optimal access to high pitched sounds through the use of the SoundRecover algorithm, with the Roger technology enabling improved hearing of speech even in difficult environments. With DuoPhone technology kids can pair up their hearing aids with a smartphone and hear the conversation directly through the hearing aid. The “Speech in Wind” feature helps kids hear clearly even in windy conditions. The Sky Q also have an autoStereoZoom feature that enables to hear one person in a crowd when the noise level goes up. To ensure that the hearing aids fit most children, Sky Q comes in four product models each with three different performance levels.
