LUMO Body Tech, a Palo Alto, CA company that’s developed its own posture monitoring technology, and that we’ve had a chance to try out, has unveiled the latest LUMOback sensor that’s smaller, more comfortable, and has a longer battery life.
LUMOback 3 also sports a new antenna, an improved exterior shell, and a more stretchy belt for better fit and improved breathing for the skin below. All the data is transmitted to your smartphone so you can review your posture readings and see how much you slouch and how much you keep yourself straight.
Here are the features of the upcoming product according to the company:
• The new sensor is smaller, more form-fitting and more comfortable.
• The exterior shell is now made with the same material found in premium sport watches.
• We added extra elasticity to our belt so it tapers and breathes more comfortably than our previous fabric band.
• Plus, the new LUMOback sensor now lasts 5-7 days on a single charge.
