The world of expensive watches continues to amaze, as designers create ever more complicated mechanical movements of questionable usefulness. Here’s Bradley, a gorgeous watch for the blind, or really anyone who wants to tell time without looking, from Hyungsoo Kim of Eone Timepieces. Named after Lt. Brad Snyder who lost his vision from a bomb attack in Afghanistan and then went on to win two Gold medals and one Silver at the London Paralympics in 2012.
Powered by Swiss quartz movement, the watch has a ball bearing riding the circumference of the watch that shows the hour and one on the face that points to the minute. The Bradley is actually a Kickstarter project, which has already raised double the original goal, but you can still jump on the bandwagon and preorder one for yourself.
