Qardio, a startup out of San Francisco, CA, unveiled two new products aimed at keeping track of one’s cardiovascular health. The QardioCore chest strap-on device can continuously record the ECG, heart rate, temperature, and has a accelerometer to measure physical activity. Data are automatically synced over Bluetooth to an accompanying iPhone app and can be shared with your doctor through a web portal.
The QardioArm is a compact wireless blood pressure cuff that also syncs to the iPhone app. It’s designed to be small enough to carry during daily activity and help make BP testing as quick and hassle free as possible.
You can sign up on the product page to preorder the devices, but the company hasn’t yet nailed down the release date only saying that it’ll be sometime later this year.
