Many years ago now, we covered the release of ReMISSION, a video game from HopeLab, a non-profit company out of Palo Alto, CA, in which you got to send all kinds of deadly firepower at cancer cells. The idea behind the game was “to improve health-related outcomes for young people with cancer, an underserved and overlooked population who are at greater risk for adverse cancer outcomes.”
It was a great game, and countless kids played, but things have been progressing over the last seven years and the development team at ReMISSION is now releasing ReMISSION 2, a totally redesigned version of the game that you can play online.
