NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) has released its new Dome GX4MP radiology display, a 30-inch widescreen monitor that can display both color and grayscale images. The GX4MP has a resolution of 2500 x 1600 and can be used for all imaging modalities including CT, MRI and ultrasound, as well as computed radiography and direct radiography for which the monitor has FDA clearance for review and analysis.
The GX4MP can either be configured as two 2 megapixels displays or one 4 megapixel display. It uses RightLight monitoring for backlight stabilization and characterization data for DICOM calibration is stored within the panel. The display has a low-power, fanless design and does not have protective coating in order to avoid reflections and image blurring.
