CBS 5 in San Francisco has a video showing the use of a number of new medical technologies being developed for battle situations.
Researchers at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, demonstrated how up and coming medtech can help wounded soldiers, from locating them on the battlefield and remotely monitoring their vitals and administering critical drugs, to evacuating these soldiers through enemy crossfire to safety using heavy-duty robots.
Some of the technologies featured in the video included RMP 400 mobile robot from Segway, as well as drug nanopatches similar to the ones we wrote about last year.
