Thermedx, LLC, a company from Solon, Ohio, has recently announced that its product, an all-in-one fluid warming system called 37~5, will now be distributed nationwide. According to MedCity News, after a “soft launch” of the system in 14 hospitals, the company wants to distribute its FDA approved device by looking “to ink deals with distributors or strategic partners and raise $3 million to fund a national commercialization of the system…”
According to the company, its product could be a money saver for hospitals. The system is designed for a multitude of tasks, such as “on demand” fluid warming, suction Irrigation, distention, fluid flow deficit monitoring, and could be used in a variety of specialties (urology, thoracic surgery, anesthesiology, etc.).
