MEDX has launched the next generation T-Quest compact gamma camera. The first version of the T-Quest, which was introduced in 2008, was specifically for thyroid exams. This renewed version adds the ability to perform parathyroid, sentinel node, MUGA, gastric emptying, hepatobiliary, bone spots and other studies, making it much more versatile. The system requires little floor space compared to conventional systems and the open design means patients of any size can be imaged. The system features a circular 150mm field of view and lightweight exchangeable collimators. It has an onboard NuQuest acquisition and processing computer making it able to function as a standalone system.
