SWITL is a device developed by Furukawa Kikou Co. of Japan for picking up emulsions like ketchup and mayo. Originally developed for bakeries, we can imagine the same technology being used in hospital cleanups, for handling sensitive biological samples, and a variety of other situations where avoiding disturbing a sample is key. Unfortunately, Furukawa Kikou isn’t providing any details about the technology behind SWITL.
