Canon has unveiled a prototype of its TX-20P fully automatic non-contact tonometer that also features a pachymeter for measuring the thickness of the cornea.
The Canon TX-20P Full-Auto Tonometer is designed to capture the complete automated measurement of both intraocular pressure (IOP) and central corneal thickness (CCT) in both eyes, helping eye care professionals detect and monitor eye care disorders, such as glaucoma and ocular hypertension, at an early stage. The TX-20P prototype incorporates a pachymeter that will automatically calculate and display corrected eye pressure measurements.
