Artist Cris Orfescu has announced that the 5th annual NanoArt competition is underway!
Nanoart is a new art discipline that involves capturing scanning electron and atomic force microscope images of natural structures or structures created by means of physical or chemical processes.
To participate, you must either submit your own molecular works of art or stylize one of three images of nanosculptures provided by Orfescu. The jurors will be Dr. Anatoli Korkin, Associate Research Professor at Arizona State University and Hugh McGrory, an Irish “filmmaker/photographer and a NanoArt pioneer.”
For complete rules, make sure to visit the official NanoArt 2011 competition site.
