The CES 2011 is in full swing in Las Vegas. While the show focuses mainly on gadgets such as TV’s, computers, and cell phones, a few companies are at CES to show off some of their medical products they hope will improve the health and wellness of their users.
This year, nine of these companies were honored by CES for being among the best health products showcased. Among the featured products were hearing devices, including earplugs specially designed for military use to prevent hearing damage caused by gunfire and explosions, a heart rate monitor that attaches to your forearm and syncs with your iPhone/iPod Touch, and an air-purifying robot that also has face and voice recognition and can monitor the user’s vitals.
Stay tuned as we’ll be updating this post and profiling some of these products and more from CES 2011!
