Medtronic Launches CareLink Pro 3.0, a Diabetes Management Software for Healthcare Professionals

Medtronic just announced US FDA approval and market launch of CareLink® Pro 3.0 Therapy Management Software, an analytical data crunching program that provides advanced decision support to clinicians managing diabetes. According to a company representative, CareLink Pro “analyzes data from a patient’s insulin pump, continuous glucose monitor and blood glucose meter. Diabetes is a complicated disease that has many variables creating a lot of data that can be overwhelming and difficult to interpret. The CareLink Pro 3.0 version aggregates data in one dashboard, freeing physician’s time so they can focus more on patients. In addition, CareLink Pro 3.0 gives physicians information to consider for a patient’s treatment.”
