Medgadget Going to AdvaMed 2010

AdvaMed 2010, perhaps the ultimate medical device industry conference, opens its doors today in Washington, D.C. Dozens of workshops, panel sessions, and plenary talks will cover every aspect of what it takes to develop, commercialize, and market a product. Regulatory, business, and technology topics will provide material for anyone to get specialized insight into their corner of the industry. Hundreds of companies are attending and some of the highlight speakers include U.S. FDA Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Donald Berwick, Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke, and CBS Evening News Anchor Katie Couric.
