Maquet has released version 3.0 of its AV Conference operating room system that manages video feeds, monitors, and clinical data via a touchscreen interface. The system is designed to make video in the OR easy and intuitive, and to allow for surgical telemedicine as a practical option.
The central cockpit of Maquet OR integration is the AV Conference 3.0 system. It is used to control Maquet equipment, like the Magnus OR table and the PowerLED OR lights. Systems and devices from other manufacturers, such as endoscopy equipment can be integrated without any difficulties. The equipment pool that is found in most operating theatres, this compatibility is particularly significant when it comes to choosing the right system for coordinating workflows.
AV Conference’s modular concept also makes it possible to utilise individual components of the system solution and to customise central functions to meet the particular requirements of the hospital. The goal of achieving a complete solution can be implemented “step-by-step”, based on needs and thanks to the expansion options afforded by the individual modules. At the same time, the system offer cost effective solution today and in the future.
