Kinetic Concepts of San Antonio, Texas won FDA approval to market the firm’s Vacuum Assisted Closure (VAC) therapy system for the treatment of venous leg ulcers. The line of VAC negative pressure wound therapy devices already has US clearance for treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers.
