The Lung Cancer Alliance, a non-profit organization from Washington, has launched a website called Give A Scan which encourages lung cancer patients to upload radiological images, mostly CT scans, of their lungs along with clinical data. The images are then made publicly available in an archive for researchers and other interested people. With this website they hope to increase and accelerate research on lung cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment. All patient data is anonymized and scans appear to be in the raw DICOM file format. As of now, nine patient datasets are available for download totaling at one gigabyte of data.
