Capillair, by designer Caolijn Slottje, is modular storage system inspired by biological structures. Individual cells are composed of bundles of small tubes enclosed in rubber, and may be assembled to adapt to a variety of space requirements. Certain to evoke memories of histology class, Capillair would be a prefect addition to the office of any cell biologist or pathologist.
The design was recently exhibited at the 2010 DMY international design festival in Berlin.
