As you’re reading this post, your computer is probably sitting idle with all that computing horsepower kept in the barn with nothing to do. All those gigahertz can be harnessed and put to good use solving great problems in life sciences. You can help with modeling the folding of proteins, identifying ligands that can dock to cancer cells, and with development of new medicines and vaccines. Plus, a lot of these come with great screen savers that show you what your computer is working on.
