EchoJournal and Medpolitics: From Clinicians For Clinicians

We’d like to remind you, our gentle readers of Medgadget, about our two sister websites: EchoJournal and Medpolitics.
EchoJournal is an ultrasound website focusing on sharing and discussion of echocardiography videos. A free service, Echojournal offers practitioners and departments, medical students and residents, a place to review interesting cases, create study groups, and make personal video collections. Website’s curator, David E. Winchester, MD, a Cardiology Fellow at the University of Florida, has been continuously uploading cardiac echos to the site, so go ahead and check it out, or add your own videos.
Medpolitics was created as a group blog where any American physician can comment on the public policy debate in healthcare. By limiting the debate to physicians, while letting the general public listen in and comment, we believe we have created an excellent resource to make the doctors’ voices heard.
