Similar to other cerebral oximeters, all of which are designed for operating room use on patients undergoing cardiac, vascular and neurosurgical procedures, as well as on patients in critical care units, the 7600 model provides continuous monitoring of cerebral oxygenation, so clinicians can take steps to prevent brain ischemia in susceptible patients.
