Water Birthing in Style and Comfort

Product designer Darling Dushinka proposes adding a bit of technology to the world of water births, by redesigning the tub and using features found in whirlpools to make the experience more comfortable and easier on the mother and midwife. The product would feature an ergonomic adjustable seating position for the mother, handle bars within and above the tub, and massaging water jets for a bit of comfort. There would even be lighting below the surface for the midwife to clearly see what’s going on. Seems like a good idea for those choosing the water birth route.
