Roland Piquepaille’sTechnology Trends blog has an overview of the i-Snake, a project by researchers at Imperial College London, including Lord Darzi of Denham, the current Health Minister. The device, which just received £2.1 million in research funding, will feature motorized gears and various cameras and sensors to allow for a greater range of procedures to be done in a minimally invasive fashion.
