The CardiAid is a PAD (Public Access Defibrillator) or also called an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). It is a practical device that helps the user with the reanimation of patients who have symptoms of a sudden cardiac arrest that is usually caused by fibrillation. In this case the CardiAid can provide the necessary defibrillation.
In addition, the CardiAid guides the user through the process of reanimation with clear and understandable instructions. The device automatically makes an ECG of the patient and prepares the delivery of a shock, if necessary. The device then asks the user to press a button, after which the device delivers a shock. If there is no fibrillation and it is still necessary to reanimate, the CardiAid will also give clear, understandable and visible instructions for assistance.
