Health 2.0 Follow Up

Following our exposé of registration security flaws within Sermo.com and other social sites for physicians, our very own Dr. O headed to Matthew Holt’s Health 2.0 conference, for some after hours cocktails, sponsored by another MD social networking site, iMedExchange.com.
Frankly, we were not aware about the get together until after some of the participating companies expressed interest in meeting us. What Dr. O saw there quite impressed him: lots of innovations, many adventurous internet startups, and tons of people working to make patients healthier, the work of clinicians smoother, and everyone happier in the process. As we profile some of the companies on these pages next week, it will be obvious that the medical internet is booming and becoming a very innovative place.
