The bloggers at We-Make-Money-Not-Art recently visited the Venice Biennale art show. They were impressed by an exhibit from photographer Tomer Ganihar, who took photos inside an Israeli medical training hospital:
Tomer Ganihar took photos in an Israeli hospital in which detailed mannequins of men, women and children maimed by war and terror are used to train doctors and medics. They embody both the memories and the prediction of violence (text from the catalog.)
We recognize these mannequins, this equipment… But thankfully, we’re not familiar with the context.
