Blood glucose testing is somehow getting more entertaining every day. Kerri from Six Until Me informed us about the upcoming Jazz tester from AgaMatrix that received FDA approval just a month ago. Kerri visited the AADE (American Association of Diabetes Educators) conference and took photos of the Jazz (image at right is a teaser graphic), and the Medtronic “Seal”, an upcoming water-tight enclosure for Minimed insulin pumps designed for people who play water sports.
The nifty thing about the Jazz, is its built-in Bluetooth capability which allows it to upload readings to a computer without having to pull out the USB cable.
