Here’s another bronze medal winner in IDSA’s 2007 International Design Excellence Awards. A great number of features in the ProAxis Bariatric Care Bed will open new horizons for those that are stuck in a prison of their own making.

The ProAxis Bariatric Care Bed was designed to satisfy the unique demands of caring for patients weighing over 700 pounds. While its extra-wide mattress platform can accommodate the largest patients, the bed has a standard width that easily fits through doors and in elevators–which helps patients to maintain their dignity.
