At CeBIT 2007 Sharp is showing off their new giant tablet PC. Sharp’s hoping that the big touchscreen can make meetings more exciting by encouraging people to go up to the screen and doodle. In terms of the world of medicine, the hope is that x-rays and photos can be written on the giganto-pc during grand rounds instead of the typical powerpoint presentation. What they don’t know is that grand rounds are already quite entertaining thanks to drug-company sponsored lunches and cutting the fellows/residents presenting down to size.
