With our minds recovering from Christmas and getting ready for New Year’s Eve, we bring you a study out of the University of Barcelona Hospital, examining the more qualitative properties of surgeons…
Doctors at the University of Barcelona Hospital said they noticed taller and more handsome male medical students likely became surgeons, while shorter students likely became physicians.
Female medical professionals ranked 12 surgeons and 12 physicians — both real and actors — using the unscientific good looking scale of ugly (1) to hottie (7). The tongue-in-cheek survey found that, on average, senior male surgeons were taller and better looking than senior male physicians and actors who portrayed them were significantly better looking than real-life doctors.
