Media Studio Graz, a Graz, Austria based software company, is offering what it believes is the first medical imaging software based on a commercial 3D application, LightWave3D™ by NewTek. The VoluMedic software package is targeted at the medical vizualization and medical illustration market. In addition, Medgadget has learned that Zoic Studios, from Culver City, CA, used VoluMedic for visual effects in the coming season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigators .
