So we went to the awards for the second year in a row. Not to bore you with details, here’s a quick impression. As industry outsiders, we clinicians–i.e. editors of Medgadget.com–are thoroughly impressed with the amount of energy that people in the industry have in implementing their ideas into all areas of clinical practice. Behind each device stands an enormous amount of sweat and pain of research, development, manufacturing, consulting and marketing. Developing a medical device is a much more complicated business than making Play Stations. Many thanks to Frost & Sullivan for holding these awards and for recognising leaders in the medical device industry.
