The editors of Medgadget.com are excited to report that the Guidant/J&J/Boston Scientific saga might be over. Johnson & Johnson remained silent on Boston’s latest offer to buy Guidant. Guidant finally approved the offer. The acquisition of Guidant by Boston Scientific must still be approved by shareholders at each company, as well as by the feds.
Johnson & Johnson, hearing of the news, finally opens its mouth and asks for its $705 million, payment Guidant must produce for breaking a previous offer.
