Mapping CA’s DNA

In the news: The National Institutes of Health and NIH’s National Human Genome Research Institute are embarking on a $100 million feasibility study to evaluate the potential in mapping out the human cancer genome. The three-year pilot project is expected to lead to the Cancer Genome Atlas, whose total cost could reach $1 billion or more.
