Life Line Screening of America, a Cleveland, Ohio based company, will bring its van to your church to perform for $109 a three-test “vascular package” of ultrasound tests (carotid scan for stroke prevention, abdominal aorta eval, and lower extremities arterial eval). The Washington Post explains why, despite noninvasive nature of these tests, some clinicians think it is not necessarily such a good idea.
