Medgadget’s research team, doing “extensive” medical anthropological research– thanks to a “generous” research grant– has uncovered the object above at the “Private View” exhibit at the University College London. The UCL’s description of the device follows. Your suggestions as to the most creative use of the device would be appreciated.
What is it? A penis sheath.
How old is it? 30 years old.
Where is it? The staff common room, Institute of Archaeology.
How did it get there? The object is part of an exhibit created by MA in Museum Studies students, who ‘borrowed’ it from Professor Peter Ucko’s desk.
What’s new? The discovery that it is not a musical instrument.
Who uses it? Males in certain groups in Papua New Guinea.
What makes it special? Its flamboyancy.
