I would like to nominate The Quack Doctor for her entertaining and informative blog, which focusses on the quack remedies and procedures as advertised in historical newspapers. Her posts are frequent and amusing and often lead to questions and debate.

    Hello

I got a very kind email/comment from a person from Massuchusetts who graciously shared that I was nominated several times for your awards. All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Just starting my blog in 11/09 but writing for my entire life, the acceptance and kindness that has come with my blog activity is amazing. I love finding the humanistic or compassionate perspective to my stories and appreciate all who are reading and "get it." Thank you for making me want to keep writing.

    Have a great day.

I love Toni Brayer's Everything Health. In the interest of full disclosure I work with Toni (that's how I found out about her blog) but that doesn't make her work any less interesting, thoughtful, witty and even rather disgusting (check out the pictures of gnarly skin diseases!). It's terrific stuff
