Notes of an Anesthesioboist is one of the few blogs I make a point to visit regularly. T's entries are accessible to all of us non-doctors, without undercutting the science. I find the notes thought-provoking, sensitive, and insightful.

I never miss a word of Notes of an Anesthesioboist (http://anesthesioboist.blogspot.com) which is very well written and always substantive, whether dealing with medicine and anesthesia, music and the oboe, or with diverse questions of family, faith and food.

I vote for Everything Health. Dr. Brayer provides an insightful, informative medical blog, and she deserves the award.

EverythingHealth gets my vote. It is well written, has useful info and covers a variety of topics in medicine, medical politics and up to date research.

I have been reading it on a daily basis since Feburary and she writes about a wide variety or excellent topics that are faniscating with great visual photos to represent what she is refering to.
It is well written in an easy way to understand for everyone on all levels. It is informative. I have learned alot form it. She also takes time to comment back if you leave a comment.

I want to cast my vote for best medical blog. While many of the blogs you have listed are good, I have to say that the best is Everything Health (http://healthwise-everythinghealth.blogspot.com/).

Dr. Brayer consistently produces entertaining, informative and useful blogs that I greatly enjoy reading.

I vote for Anesthesiobiost as best literary blog. It is well written and fun and informative. A great combo. My favorite health policies are Happy Hospitalist and Wachters World. Both great blogs.

Everythinghealth does the hard work of scanning and then presenting me with interesting, informative medical news. I wouldn't miss my daily read.

Um, I see 24 nominees for best medical weblog and not one of them is KevinMD. If the blogsphere is truly in need of a legitmate end of the year "awards show" don't you think we need to include the site that garners the most traffic and links to more medical blogs than any other? Aren't these awards a complete joke and travesty if KevinMD isn't at least nominated? So I nominate it.

As a non-doctor (and in fact, someone who is squeamish about most things medical), I nonetheless visit the site regularly to read T's thoughtful and eloquent posts. Through the blog, T models the ideal of reflective practice for people in all the professions.
