While I liked Notes of an Anesthesioboist http://mormonmd.wordpress.com/ is really good.

Mind Soul and Body really is a favorite for me. I'm glad you have it listed above under Best New Medical Weblog (established in 2008).

Notes of an Anesthesioboist is one of the few blogs I make a point to visit regularly. T's entries are accessible to all of us non-doctors, without undercutting the science. I find the notes thought-provoking, sensitive, and insightful.

I never miss a word of Notes of an Anesthesioboist (http://anesthesioboist.blogspot.com) which is very well written and always substantive, whether dealing with medicine and anesthesia, music and the oboe, or with diverse questions of family, faith and food.

I definately think Dr.Toni Brayer's Blog Everythinghealth deserves to win!!
I have been reading it on a daily basis since Feburary and she writes about a wide variety or excellent topics that are faniscating with great visual photos to represent what she is refering to.
It is well written in an easy way to understand for everyone on all levels. It is informative. I have learned alot form it. She also takes time to comment back if you leave a comment.
Everythinghealth is an excellent blog well worth reading.

I want to cast my vote for best medical blog. While many of the blogs you have listed are good, I have to say that the best is Everything Health (http://healthwise-everythinghealth.blogspot.com/).

Dr. Brayer consistently produces entertaining, informative and useful blogs that I greatly enjoy reading.

So cool to be nominated again this year. I'd like to request that the title of Brass and Ivory be expanded to Brass and Ivory: Life with Multiple Sclerosis. That way more folks know what it's all about. Thank you!!

Um, I see 24 nominees for best medical weblog and not one of them is KevinMD. If the blogsphere is truly in need of a legitmate end of the year "awards show" don't you think we need to include the site that garners the most traffic and links to more medical blogs than any other? Aren't these awards a complete joke and travesty if KevinMD isn't at least nominated? So I nominate it.

Notes of an Anesthesioboist has my vote. As a non-doctor (and in fact, someone who is squeamish about most things medical), I nonetheless visit the site regularly to read T's thoughtful and eloquent posts. Through the blog, T models the ideal of reflective practice for people in all the professions.

    Luke:

PollDaddy probably recognizes all of you coming from the same IP address as one person. Unfortunately, this is the limitation we had to place, as otherwise people maliciously drop cookies and vote multiple times.

@DrO That's a shame, but understand the need to stop people cheating! I'll tell the guys here to vote from home! BTW - would be a great idea to link the Award image on your homepage to the voting page now that it's open - it still points to the nominations post - and the voting is *very* hard to find on your site now that you have a bunch of new posts on the home page.

Her writing is amazing and truthful, and just when you think you are gonna cry she turns a phrase to make you laugh out loud. She'll have you out playing tennis and running too - or if you can't do that, she'll instruct you on how to make a one-mile walking track through the hospital.
