A study presented at the 20th annual International Symposium on Endovascular Therapy (ISET), a conference that wrapped up yesterday, has shown that cobalt chromium stents covered with poly[bis(trifluroexthoxy)phosphazene], or Polyzene®-F nanothin surface coating, have shown "promise in opening and healing blocked heart arteries without the life-threatening dangers of drug-eluting stents." Polyzene-F is a product of CeloNova BioSciences, Inc., a Newnan, GA company.
