The Impact Jacket for Fearful Daredevils

The Impact Jacket, an airbag-like safety suit for motorcycle riders, is helping soothe the nerves of wives, girlfriends, and mothers everywhere. Case in point is a gentleman who, according to Baltimore police, was pushed off his bike and hit the ground at about 140 MpH (225 KpH). Remarkably, he is not dead, nor is he in intensive care.

WBAL of Baltimore reports:

McPhatter suffered from sore ribs and knees and a few other minor injuries, but it could have been much worse, officials said.
