Unleaded: Pencil Removed from Woman's Head After 55 Years

The headline pretty much covers it. Margret Wegner of Germany accidentally inserted a pencil into her head 55 years ago, but surgical technology finally advanced enough to go get the thing.

Margret Wegner fell over carrying the pencil in her hand when she was four.

"The pencil went right through my skin -- and disappeared into my head," Wegner told the newspaper.

Anyone else having flashbacks to a certain episode of The Simpsons? Maybe she'll become dramatically smarter, only to realize things were better with the pencil in.
